Solid performance
We bought ten of these for our workshop. Nine worked perfectly, one had a slight drift issue but was still usable for basic demos.

Good value but needs calibration
Great sensor for the price. Just remember that you need to calibrate it properly in your code to get accurate angle readings. Documentation could be better.
Q: What is the maximum sampling rate?
A: The gyroscope and accelerometer can sample at up to 8kHz, though typical usage ranges from 100Hz to 1kHz depending on your application needs.
Q: Can this measure absolute orientation without external magnets?
A: This sensor measures acceleration and rotation rate. For absolute heading (yaw) relative to magnetic north, you would need to add a magnetometer like the HMC5883L.
Q: Does this come with header pins soldered?
A: No, the module typically comes with unsoldered header pins so you can choose your own configuration or solder wires directly.
Q: Is this module compatible with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, the MPU6050 uses I2C communication which is fully supported by Raspberry Pi GPIO pins.
Q: What library do you recommend for Arduino?
A: The 'MPU6050' library by Electronic Cats or the 'Adafruit_MPU6050' library are both excellent choices and widely used.
