Works but needs careful wiring
The module itself is fine, but you really need to ensure your ground connections are solid or the readings drift. Once I fixed my wiring, it worked great.

Industry standard for a reason

Easy to integrate
I was worried about calibration, but the library examples made it incredibly easy. Readings are consistent and repeatable. Highly recommended for beginners.

Good value, minor noise
Great little sensor for the price. I noticed a tiny bit of noise when running at 80Hz, but switching to 10Hz solved it completely. Ideal for hobbyist projects.

Perfect for DIY Scales
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino project. The 24-bit resolution provides very stable readings for my kitchen scale build. Setup was straightforward using existing libraries.

Compact and Reliable
The mini version saves so much space on my PCB. It handles the load cell excitation voltage well and communicates quickly with the microcontroller.
Q: Does it come with header pins pre-soldered?
A: Typically, the headers are included in the package but not pre-soldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself.
Q: Is a library available for ESP32?
A: Absolutely. There are several open-source libraries compatible with ESP32, Arduino IDE, and PlatformIO that support the HX711 protocol.
Q: What is the maximum weight this can measure?
A: The module itself does not limit the weight; the capacity depends entirely on the load cell you connect to it. This module just converts the analog signal to digital.
Q: Can this module drive a 4-wire load cell directly?
A: Yes, the HX711 has an onboard regulator that can provide the excitation voltage required for standard 4-wire load cells.
Q: What is the difference between the Mini and Standard versions?
