Exceeded expectations
Very robust unit. We needed something that could handle rapid weight changes on a conveyor belt, and this module captures the data accurately every time.

A: Under ideal conditions with proper shielding and termination resistors, RS485 communication can extend up to 1200 meters. We recommend using twisted pair shielded cable for best results.
Q: Can I power this directly from a 24V industrial supply?
A: Yes, the input voltage range is DC 9V to 24V, so it is fully compatible with standard 24V industrial power supplies without needing an additional converter.
Q: What software is required to configure the baud rate?
A: You can use any standard Modbus master software or a simple serial terminal program like PuTTY or Tera Term to send configuration commands via RS485.
Q: Does this module support multiple load cells simultaneously?
A: This specific model is designed for a single channel input. For multiple load cells, you would need to wire them into a junction box to create a single combined signal before connecting to this transmitter.
