Perfect for my aquarium project
This sensor works exactly as described. I used it to monitor the water level in my custom aquarium setup, and the digital output is very stable. The sensitivity adjustment screw makes it easy to calibrate for different liquid types.

Great for beginners
As someone new to electronics, I found this module very forgiving. The three pins are clearly labeled, and it doesn't require complex circuitry. It instantly helped me build a water leak alarm.

Solid performance
Works well for general liquid level monitoring. The board quality seems decent with good soldering points. Just ensure you do not submerge the entire PCB, only the sensing traces at the bottom.

Reliable detection
I tested this with both fresh water and salt water. It detects the surface level accurately every time. The LM393 comparator ensures a clean signal transition, which is crucial for my logic controller.

Good value, easy to integrate
Integrated this with an Arduino Uno without any issues. The code examples found online worked immediately. Only giving 4 stars because the included wires are a bit short, but otherwise a solid module.

Essential for auto-watering system
Using two of these in my greenhouse reservoir. One for low-level warning and one for high-level cutoff. They have been running continuously for a month with no false triggers. Highly recommended.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (detect lower liquid levels) and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Test with your specific liquid to find the optimal setting.
Q: Can this sensor detect oil levels or just water?
A: This sensor can detect most non-corrosive conductive liquids, including water and some oils. However, highly viscous or non-conductive fluids may require calibration or might not trigger the sensor reliably.
Q: Is this module waterproof?
A: The sensing traces at the bottom are designed to come into contact with liquid, but the electronic components on the top side of the PCB are not waterproof. Please avoid submerging the entire module.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic systems like ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems such as the ESP32, ESP8266, and 3.3V Arduino boards.
Q: What is the maximum current this output pin can handle?
A: The digital output pin is intended for signal processing and should be connected to a microcontroller GPIO. It is not designed to drive high-current loads directly; please use a relay or transistor for switching pumps.
