Perfect for my conveyor belt project
The detection range is accurate and consistent. I set it up to count items on a small conveyor, and it hasn't missed a beat. The separate transceiver design made alignment easy.

Great for learning automation
Bought this for a university project. It connects easily to Arduino and PLCs. The LED indicators make troubleshooting very straightforward.

Excellent range stability
Even in slightly dusty conditions, the through-beam design maintains a stable signal. Very happy with the purchase for my garage door safety setup.

Good value, clear instructions
Works well for the price. The wiring diagram included was helpful. Only giving 4 stars because the mounting brackets feel a bit flimsy, but the sensor itself is solid.

Reliable infrared switch
I've tested this against more expensive brands, and the performance is nearly identical. The response time is fast enough for high-speed counting applications.
Q: How do I adjust the detection distance?
A: There is a potentiometer on the amplifier unit. Turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (distance) and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Q: Is the output voltage the same as the input voltage?
A: Yes, the output switches the input voltage level. If you supply 24V, the output signal will be 24V when triggered.
Q: What is the maximum current the output can handle?
A: The output transistor can typically handle up to 200mA. For higher loads, please use an external relay or contactor.
Q: Can this sensor work in direct sunlight?
A: While the infrared source is strong, we recommend shielding the sensor from direct intense sunlight to prevent potential interference with the receiver.
Q: Does this come with both transmitter and receiver?
A: Yes, this is a through-beam system, so the package includes one transmitter unit and one separate receiver unit.
