Solid value for money
Good accuracy and the serial interface simplifies wiring significantly. Took off one star because the pin spacing is slightly tight for standard breadboards without some careful bending, but otherwise a great product.

No development needed indeed
As advertised, this requires zero development if you just need standard readings. Plug into any microcontroller with a UART port and you are good to go. The voltage tolerance up to 5.5V is a nice bonus for 5V logic systems.

Reliable humidity readings
Using this to control misters in my orchid greenhouse. The humidity response is fast enough to prevent overshooting. Very happy with the stability of the readings even in high-moisture environments.

Great sensor, documentation could be better
The hardware works flawlessly and the precision is excellent. However, the command set for changing baud rates wasn't clearly explained in the included sheet. Had to look up the SHT30 datasheet online. Once configured, it's fantastic.

Perfect for quick integration
This module saved me hours of work. The TTL serial output means I didn't have to write any I2C drivers. Just connected TX/RX and started reading data immediately. Accuracy seems spot on compared to my calibrated reference.
Q: How long is the cable included with the module?
A: This product is sold as a standalone module with header pins and does not include any connecting cables. You will need to source your own jumper wires or solder connections based on your project requirements.
Q: Does this module work directly with Arduino Uno without extra libraries?
A: Yes, since it uses TTL Serial, you can use the standard HardwareSerial library in Arduino. You simply read the string output from the RX pin. No specific SHT30 library is required unless you want to parse binary data manually.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof for outdoor use?
A: The sensor element itself is resistant to condensation, but the PCB module is not waterproof. For outdoor use, we recommend placing the module inside an IP65-rated enclosure with a breathable membrane to protect the electronics while allowing air exchange.
Q: Can I power this with 3.3V or does it need 5V?
A: This module supports a wide input voltage range from 3.3V to 5.5V DC. It includes an onboard regulator, so it will function correctly with either 3.3V or 5V logic systems without needing level shifters.
Q: What is the default baud rate and can it be changed?
A: The default baud rate is 9600 bps. It can be changed to other standard rates like 19200, 38400, or 115200 by sending specific configuration commands via the serial interface. Please refer to the command protocol section in the digital manual.
