Solid choice for OEM integration
Integrated these into a custom monitoring box. The 10-32 thread is standard and easy to work with. Delivery was fast and packaging protected the units well.

Reliable and robust
Great build quality. The side connector makes installation in tight spaces much easier compared to top-mounted connectors. Sensitivity is exactly as specified in the datasheet.

Industry standard performance
As expected from IMI/PCB. We use these for balancing rotating machinery. The data is consistent and reliable every time. Highly recommend for any serious vibration analysis work.

Good value for general purpose testing
Works well for our predictive maintenance program. The frequency response is flat across the range we need. Only minor issue is that the mounting base could be slightly larger for better stability on rough surfaces.

Perfect for industrial vibration monitoring
We installed these M603C01 sensors on our main turbine units. The signal quality is excellent with very low noise floor. They have been running continuously for six months without any drift or issues.
Q: Can this be used for shock testing?
A: While it can measure transient events, this sensor is primarily designed for vibration monitoring. For high-g shock testing exceeding ±50g, please consider our dedicated shock sensor series with higher measurement ranges.
Q: What is the calibration cycle recommendation?
A: We recommend annual calibration to ensure measurement accuracy remains within specified limits, especially if the sensor is used in critical applications or harsh environments.
Q: Is the cable included with the sensor?
A: No, the M603C01 sensor is sold as a standalone unit. Cables with the appropriate 10-32 jack connector must be purchased separately based on your required length and shielding needs.
Q: Does this sensor require an external power supply?
A: Yes, the M603C01 is an IEPE (Integrated Electronics Piezo-Electric) sensor and requires a constant current power supply, typically between 2mA and 20mA at 18-30 VDC, which is usually provided by your data acquisition system or signal conditioner.
Q: What is the recommended mounting torque for this sensor?
A: For optimal frequency response, we recommend a mounting torque of 15 to 20 in-lbs when using a 10-32 stud. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat for best results.
