Great complete kit
Having the bracket, sensor, module, and tray in one package saved me so much time. The aluminum bracket is rigid which helps with measurement consistency. Will buy again for another project.

Good value, minor wiring confusion
The sensor itself works great and is very stable. The included diagram was slightly hard to read, but once I found a tutorial online, it worked perfectly. The tray is sturdy enough for small items.

Perfect for my Arduino project
This kit had everything I needed to build a precise kitchen scale. The HX711 module connected easily, and the calibration was straightforward using standard libraries. Highly recommended for beginners.

Solid performance for DIY scales
Used this to make a postage scale. It responds quickly to weight changes. The only reason for 4 stars is that the screws provided were a bit short for thicker mounting boards, but otherwise perfect.

Works but needs careful calibration
It took me a few tries to get the tare function working correctly. Once calibrated, it is accurate. Just be patient with the setup process if you are new to electronics.

Accurate and reliable
I tested this against a commercial scale and the readings were within 1 gram. The 20kg load cell option I chose handles heavy packages without any drift. Excellent build quality.
Q: Do you provide sample code for Arduino?
A: We do not include a physical manual with code, but the HX711 is widely supported. You can easily find the 'HX711' library by bogde in the Arduino Library Manager which works perfectly with this module.
Q: Can I use a 50kg weight on the 40kg model?
A: No, please do not exceed the rated capacity. Using a 50kg weight on a 40kg load cell may permanently damage the sensor and affect accuracy. Always choose a model with a capacity higher than your maximum expected weight.
Q: Can this module work directly with 3.3V logic boards like the Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, the HX711 operates between 2.6V and 5.5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V systems like the Raspberry Pi without needing a level shifter.
Q: What is the maximum resolution achievable with this sensor?
A: The HX711 features a 24-bit ADC, providing high resolution. In practical applications, you can typically resolve down to 1g or less depending on your specific load cell capacity and calibration.
Q: Is the plastic tray durable enough for daily use?
A: The tray is made from high-quality ABS plastic designed for general weighing tasks. While durable, we recommend not exceeding the rated capacity of your specific load cell to prevent deformation.
