Q: What is the maximum sensing distance for the diffuse mode?
A: For standard white paper (90% reflectivity), the diffuse reflection range is approximately 300mm. Darker objects will reduce this range significantly.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There is a potentiometer located on the side of the housing. You can use a small screwdriver to turn it while monitoring the indicator LED to set the optimal switching point.
Q: Does this work with 24V DC systems?
A: Yes, the operating voltage range is 10-30 VDC, so it is fully compatible with standard 24V DC industrial control systems.
Q: Can this sensor detect transparent objects like glass bottles?
A: While it can detect some transparent objects, we recommend using the Through-Beam mode for best results with glass. For highly reflective or transparent materials, specific background suppression models might offer better performance.
Q: Is the cable detachable or fixed to the unit?
A: This specific model comes with a fixed 2-meter PUR cable. If you require a detachable connector version, please check our M12 connector series.
