Perfect for my robotics project
This sensor works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity adjustment is very responsive, allowing me to calibrate it perfectly for the black tape on my white track. Great value for electronic competitions.

Solid performance

Good but needs careful calibration
The module is compact and easy to wire. However, ambient light can affect readings if not shielded properly. Once I added a small hood, the line tracking became much more stable.

Great educational tool
Bought this to teach my son about sensors and logic. The digital output makes it very simple to understand high/low signals. He got his car moving in an afternoon.

A: This module is designed for indoor controlled environments. Direct sunlight or rapidly changing outdoor lighting can interfere with the grayscale detection accuracy.
Q: Can this sensor detect colored lines like red or green effectively?
A: Yes, the photosensitive element is capable of detecting contrast between colored lines (Red, Green) and the background, provided the lighting conditions are consistent and the sensitivity is calibrated.
Q: What is the maximum operating voltage for this module?
A: The module operates safely within a range of 3.3V to 5V DC. We recommend using 5V for standard Arduino projects to ensure stable logic levels.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity if the car keeps losing the line?
A: Locate the blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to turn it slowly while testing over the line. Turn clockwise to increase sensitivity or counter-clockwise to decrease it until the indicator LED reacts correctly.
Q: Does this come with mounting screws?
