Slow sampling rate

Works as advertised, but keep in mind the DHT11 can only sample once per second. If you need faster updates for a real-time graph, this might feel a bit sluggish compared to more expensive sensors.

Good value, but get the DHT22 for outdoors

The sensor works well, but I realized too late that the DHT11 isn't great for outdoor use due to its limited temperature range. I swapped it for the DHT22 included in the same shop and now it handles the winter cold perfectly.

Solid basic sensor

Perfect for beginner Arduino projects

I bought the DHT11 version for a simple weather station project. It was incredibly easy to wire up and the library support is excellent. Readings are stable enough for indoor monitoring.

Reliable and consistent data
