Essential for any Pi project
If you are working with Raspberry Pi and legacy 5V modules, this is a must-have. It handles the level shifting automatically so you don't have to worry about frying your GPIO pins. Highly recommended.

Reliable and fast shipping

Solid build, clear labeling
The PCB quality is excellent and the silk screen labeling makes wiring very easy. Took off one star because the headers were not included, but that's a minor inconvenience. Works exactly as described.

Perfect for mixing 3.3V and 5V sensors
This module solved my voltage mismatch issue instantly. I connected several 5V ultrasonic sensors to my Raspberry Pi without any signal degradation. The bidirectional feature works flawlessly for I2C communication.

Great value for money
For the price, you get 8 channels which is more than enough for most projects. Instructions could be slightly more detailed for beginners, but there are plenty of tutorials online.
Q: What is the maximum current per channel?
A: The module is designed for logic level signaling, not power delivery. The typical current capacity per channel is around 20mA, suitable for signal lines only.
Q: Is it compatible with 1.8V logic systems?
A: Yes, the low-voltage side supports ranges from 1.8V up to 3.3V, making it compatible with newer microcontrollers that operate at 1.8V logic levels.
Q: Does this module require an external power supply for both voltage rails?
A: Yes, you need to connect both the LV (Low Voltage, e.g., 3.3V) and HV (High Voltage, e.g., 5V) power pins to their respective sources for the module to function correctly.
