Perfect for my hydroponic setup
This sensor module integrates easily with my Arduino project. The TDS readings are consistent when compared to my handheld meter. Great value for the price.
Q: Does the package include calibration solutions?
A: No, the package includes only the sensor module and probe. Calibration solutions (such as 1413 µS/cm) must be purchased separately for accurate tuning.
Q: What is the warranty period for the probe?
A: The probe comes with a 6-month manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. Damage caused by improper voltage or physical abuse is not covered.
Q: How often does the probe need cleaning?
A: For continuous immersion, we recommend inspecting and gently cleaning the electrode with a soft cloth and distilled water every 2-4 weeks to prevent biofilm buildup which affects accuracy.
Q: Is this sensor compatible with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, it is compatible. Since it outputs a digital UART signal, you can connect the TX pin of the sensor to the RX pin of the Raspberry Pi GPIO, ensuring common ground.
Q: Can this measure saltwater conductivity?
A: This module is optimized for fresh water and low-salinity applications like aquariums and hydroponics. It is not recommended for high-salinity seawater measurements as it may exceed the linear range.
