Works but needs calibration
The sensor works, but it is extremely sensitive out of the box. You definitely need to adjust your circuit thresholds to avoid false alarms from wind.

A: The sensor operates reliably between -20°C and +60°C, making it suitable for most outdoor automotive environments.
Q: Is this sensor compatible with 24V truck systems?
A: This module is primarily designed for 12V systems. For 24V applications, we recommend using a voltage regulator to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Q: Can this detect glass breaking?
A: While it detects vibrations, it is tuned for structural shocks like bumping or lifting. Glass breaking frequencies might require a specific acoustic sensor instead.
Q: How do I reduce false alarms caused by rain?
A: We suggest mounting the sensor inside the vehicle frame rather than on external panels and adjusting the sensitivity threshold in your control unit software.
Q: Does it come with connecting wires?
A: The module includes terminal pins for connection, but connecting wires are not included in the package. You will need to solder your own leads.
