Perfect for factory monitoring
We installed these modules across our assembly line to monitor noise levels continuously. The 4-20mA output integrates seamlessly with our existing PLC system. Calibration was straightforward, and the readings are consistent.

Solid industrial sensor
Good build quality and reliable performance in a dusty environment. The only reason for 4 stars is that the manual could be more detailed regarding wiring diagrams for specific controller brands.

Easy integration
Our engineering team had this up and running within an hour. The current loop output is very robust against electrical interference in our heavy machinery room.

Reliable and stable
Been running this sensor for three months now without any drift in values. The A-weighting filter works exactly as expected for occupational health compliance checks.

Works well but sensitive to wind
The sensor works great indoors. However, when we tried using it in a semi-outdoor loading dock, wind noise affected the readings significantly. You definitely need a windscreen for outdoor use.
Q: What is the maximum cable length for the 4-20mA output?
A: For a 24V supply, you can typically run the signal up to 500 meters depending on wire gauge and load resistance, thanks to the nature of current loop signals.
Q: Can this be powered by a 24V supply directly?
A: Yes, the sensor operates on a wide voltage range of 12V DC to 24V DC. It can be connected directly to standard industrial power supplies.
Q: How do I mount this on a DIN rail?
A: The unit includes a built-in clip on the back. Simply align the top hook with the rail and press the bottom until it clicks into place. No extra tools are needed.
Q: Does this sensor require external calibration?
A: The module comes pre-calibrated from the factory. However, for strict compliance purposes, we recommend annual verification using a standard sound calibrator.
Q: Is there a digital output option like RS485?
A: This specific model is analog 4-20mA only. We do carry a separate model with RS485 Modbus output if your project requires digital communication.
