Much better than the old DHT11

The precision on this AHT20 is noticeably better than my old DHT11 modules. The I2C interface makes wiring much cleaner with fewer pins needed. Highly recommended for any serious weather station project.

Standard for new projects

We have switched all our workshop environmental monitors from DHT11 to AHT20. The improved accuracy and faster response time make a real difference in our data logging experiments.

Good value for money

Bought a pack of five for a university project. All of them worked out of the box. The accuracy is sufficient for our needs, though calibration might be needed for industrial applications.

Easy library support

Found a library for this sensor immediately on GitHub. Had it up and running with an ESP32 in under 10 minutes. The data readings are consistent and match my calibrated reference meter closely.

Great for greenhouse monitoring

Using these to monitor humidity in my indoor greenhouse. They seem very stable and respond quickly to changes when I mist the plants. Only giving 4 stars because the documentation could be slightly clearer for beginners.

Compact and reliable

The form factor is tiny, which is perfect for fitting into custom 3D printed enclosures. No drift observed over two weeks of continuous operation. Excellent upgrade for home automation sensors.
