Perfect replacement for my Ender 3
This heating rod fits perfectly into the hotend block. It heats up quickly and maintains temperature very steadily. Great value for a DIY part.
Q: What is the exact length of the heated section?
A: The total dimensions are 6mm in diameter and 20mm in length. The entire rod is the heated section as it is a cartridge style heater.
Q: How long is the wire lead?
A: The wire leads are approximately 1 meter long, which provides enough slack for most standard 3D printer wiring harnesses.
Q: Does it come with thermal paste?
A: No, the package includes only the heating rod. We recommend applying high-temperature thermal paste during installation for optimal heat transfer.
Q: Is this compatible with a 12V RAMPS board?
A: Yes, this heating rod supports both 12V and 24V inputs. Just ensure your firmware and power supply are configured correctly for 12V operation.
Q: Can I use this for melting plastics other than PLA?
