Great value but needs patience
The kit is affordable and educational. Some of the wire stripping required a bit of dexterity that my 7-year-old needed help with, but overall it's a solid introduction to electronics.

Surprisingly powerful!
I didn't expect much from a battery-powered mini fan, but it actually moves a decent amount of air. It's a cool little desk accessory now that we've finished building it.

Good concept, fragile blades
The assembly was fun, but one of the plastic fan blades cracked slightly when we tightened the screw. It still works, but be gentle during the final steps.

Perfect weekend project for kids

Fun and educational
Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He loved taking it apart and putting it back together. The manual could explain the circuit diagram a bit better, but otherwise great.
Q: Do I need any special tools to assemble this?
A: Most parts snap together or use simple screws. However, having a small Phillips head screwdriver and wire strippers (or scissors used carefully) will make the process easier.
Q: Can the direction of the fan be reversed?
A: Yes, by swapping the connection of the two wires leading to the motor terminals, you can reverse the polarity and change the direction of the spin.
Q: Is this kit safe for a 6-year-old?
A: While the materials are non-toxic, the kit involves small parts and connecting wires. We recommend it for ages 8+ or younger children with close adult supervision.
Q: Are batteries included in the box?
A: No, batteries are not included. You will need to purchase two AA batteries separately to power the fan.
