Perfect for industrial automation projects
This board works flawlessly with our PLC setup. The RS485 communication is stable over long distances, and the 16 channels give us plenty of room for expansion. Documentation was clear enough to get started quickly.

Solid hardware, minor software learning curve
The build quality is excellent and the relays click satisfyingly. It took a little time to figure out the exact hex commands for the serial interface, but once configured, it has been running 24/7 without issues.

Robust and noise immune

Reliable data acquisition

Good for custom robot controllers
Integrated this into a custom robot base. The RS232 mode worked immediately with our microcontroller. Only wish the terminal block screws were slightly larger for easier wiring in tight spaces.

Great value for the channel count
I needed a high-density IO controller for my greenhouse automation. This module handles sensors and pumps perfectly. The optical isolation gives me peace of mind regarding voltage spikes.
Q: Does the board come with a power supply included?
A: No, the module is sold as a board only. You will need to provide your own DC power supply within the 5V-24V range depending on your relay coil requirements.
Q: What is the maximum wire gauge supported by the terminal blocks?
A: The terminal blocks accommodate wires from 24 AWG up to 12 AWG comfortably, suitable for most industrial control current ratings.
Q: Can the digital inputs detect 24V signals directly?
A: Yes, the opto-isolated digital inputs are designed to accept voltages from 5V up to 24V DC directly without needing external resistors or level shifters.
Q: Is there a Python library available to control this board?
A: We do not provide an official Python library, but the protocol is simple ASCII/Hex based. Many users have written their own scripts using standard pyserial libraries which work perfectly.
Q: Can this module be daisy-chained with other units to get more than 16 channels?
A: Yes, when using the RS485 interface, you can connect multiple modules on the same bus by assigning unique IDs to each board, allowing you to scale up to hundreds of channels.
