Solid performance grade instrument
Very happy with this purchase. The build quality feels robust and premium. It took a day or two for the strings to fully settle, but now it holds tune very well. Highly recommended for serious students.

Stunning aesthetics and sound

Exceptional tone for professional use
I purchased this Xinghai Pipa for my conservatory exams and I am thoroughly impressed. The African Purple Sandalwood provides a rich, resonant tone that projects well in large halls. The craftsmanship on the headstock is stunning.

Perfect for recitals
The sustain and clarity of the notes are fantastic. I used this for my end-of-year recital and received many compliments. The tuning stability is also very good compared to my previous instrument.

Great value for the price
As an intermediate player moving to advanced repertoire, this pipa meets all my needs. The wood quality is excellent. I deducted one star only because the included picks were a bit thin for my preference, but that's a minor issue.
