Outstanding value

For a Sino-US joint venture product, the quality control is impressive. No air leaks, perfect pad seating, and the grain of the ebony is gorgeous. Free shipping was a nice bonus. This is a professional-quality instrument at a student-friendly price point.

Great instrument, minor setup needed

The wood quality is stunning and the intonation is surprisingly good across all registers. I did need to adjust a few screws upon arrival, but once set up, it plays like a much more expensive instrument. Highly recommend for students and intermediates.

Solid choice for orchestral playing

I use this as a backup to my main wooden piccolo, and honestly, I find myself reaching for the Jinyin more often. The response in the third octave is clear and not shrill. Only giving 4 stars because the case latch felt a bit stiff initially.

Beautiful Craftsmanship
