Excellent value for a student piccolo

I bought this for my daughter who is just starting band. The tone is surprisingly bright and clear for the price point. The keys feel solid and the silver plating looks very professional.

Solid construction

Very happy with the build quality. The joints fit together snugly without being too tight. The intonation is generally good across the registers, though the high C requires some embouchure control.

Good projection, needs minor adjustment

The white copper body gives it a nice weight and good projection. It arrived slightly out of alignment on one key, but a local repair tech fixed it in minutes. Great instrument once set up.

Decent but stiff springs

The sound is okay for the price, but the springs were quite stiff out of the box. It took a few weeks of playing to break them in. The case provided is sturdy though.

Beautiful finish and responsive keys

I use this as a backup to my wooden piccolo for outdoor marches. It handles temperature changes well and the closed holes make it very easy to play quickly. Highly recommended.
