Great upgrade from my old flute-piccolo headjoint

Finally decided to get a dedicated piccolo and chose the Jinbao JBPC-775. The intonation is consistent across registers. The closed holes make finger placement very forgiving.

Beautiful finish and easy to play

The white copper keys with silver plating give this instrument a premium look. It responds easily in the third octave, which can be tricky on cheaper models. Very happy with this purchase.

Decent but requires break-in

The instrument was a bit stiff initially. After playing it daily for two weeks, the keys loosened up nicely. Sound is bright and clear. Just be patient during the break-in period.
