Best investment for film photographers

Good value for the price
Does exactly what it says. The USB power option is convenient for taking it on location. Wish the cable was a bit longer, but that's a minor issue.

Perfect for digitizing my old family albums
The even lighting makes scanning negatives so much easier. No more hot spots or color casts. The dimmer is a nice touch for adjusting contrast on the fly.

Great build quality, very sturdy
Solid aluminum construction feels professional. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the 4x5 holder is sold separately, but the unit itself works flawlessly.

Uniform brightness across the whole surface
As someone who does a lot of reversal copying, uniformity is key. This light box delivers consistent illumination from edge to edge. Very impressed.
