Great value, minor learning curve
The build quality is solid for the price. It took me a couple of tries to load the 35mm film onto the reel without touching the edges, but the included instructions were helpful. No leaks during the washing process.

Good but reel can be tricky
The tank itself works perfectly, but the plastic reel requires very dry hands to load successfully. If your fingers are even slightly sweaty, the film sticks. I recommend practicing with a sacrificial roll first.

Everything you need in one box

Perfect for beginners!

Reliable and durable
I have used this tank for over twenty rolls of film now, both B&W and C-41 color. It cleans easily and shows no signs of wear. The funnel design prevents spills when pouring chemicals in the dark.

Solid entry-level kit
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The plastic feels sturdy enough to last for years. My only wish is that it came with a measuring cylinder for the chemicals, but that's a minor omission.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this tank can withstand?
A: The ABS plastic is rated for temperatures up to 40°C (104°F). We do not recommend exceeding this limit to prevent warping or seal failure.
Q: How do I clean the tank after using color chemicals?
A: Rinse thoroughly with warm water immediately after use. For stubborn stains, a mild diluted vinegar solution works well. Avoid harsh abrasives that could scratch the plastic.
Q: Can this tank be used for developing color C-41 film?
A: Yes, the 1510 tank is compatible with standard C-41 color processes as long as you maintain the required temperature range using a water bath or heater.
Q: Does this kit include the actual developer chemicals?
A: This specific SKU includes the hardware (tank, reel, tools). Chemicals are sold separately to allow you to choose your preferred brand and formulation.
Q: Is the reel adjustable for both 35mm and 120 film?
