The gold standard for B&W developing

Solid performer

Great product, strong odor

The chemical performance is excellent and my films come out perfectly clear. Just be aware that it has a fairly strong sulfur smell, so good ventilation in the darkroom is a must.

Q: Is this safe to pour down the drain?

Generally, small amounts of spent fixer from home use may be flushed with plenty of water in areas connected to municipal sewage treatment, but large quantities should be taken to a hazardous waste facility. A: You can test exhaustion by measuring the clearing time of a film leader. If the clearing time exceeds double the initial clearing time of fresh solution, it is time to replace the bath.
