Consistent results every time
I've gone through three batches of this kit now. The D-76 developer is very consistent, giving me reliable contrast on Ilford HP5 and Kodak Tri-X. The stop bath works quickly and efficiently.

Good kit, missing measuring cup
The chemicals themselves are top-notch and develop beautiful negatives. My only complaint is that the kit doesn't include a dedicated measuring cylinder, so you need to have your own lab gear ready.

Great value, strong smell
The quality of the development is excellent, and the price point is unbeatable for the amount of chemistry included. Just be sure to have good ventilation; the fixer has a fairly potent odor until it settles.

A: While these are standard photographic chemicals, we strongly recommend wearing nitrile gloves and eye protection during mixing and processing to prevent skin irritation or accidental splashes.
Q: Can this kit be used for color film processing?
A: No, this kit is formulated exclusively for black and white film. Color film requires a different chemical process (C-41 or E-6) and specific temperature controls not provided by these chemicals.
Q: How long does the fixer last once mixed?
A: Once mixed with water, the fixer typically remains effective for about 2 to 3 weeks if stored in an airtight container away from light. We recommend marking the mixing date on the bottle.
