Works well but USB cable is short
The device does exactly what it says regarding recording and dialing. My only complaint is that the included USB cable is quite short, requiring me to buy an extension to reach my computer tower.

Perfect for our small office setup
We needed a simple way to record landline calls for training purposes. The Zipei T0 was easy to install, and the pop-up software works flawlessly with our existing customer database. Highly recommended for small businesses.

Reliable daily performer
We have been using this for three months now without any crashes or lost recordings. The audio is clear on both ends of the conversation. Would give 5 stars if the software interface looked a bit more modern.

Excellent SDK for customization

Great value for money
Compared to other enterprise solutions, this is incredibly affordable. The voice call pop-up feature helps our receptionist identify callers instantly. Setup took less than 10 minutes.

Good hardware, software takes learning
The recording quality is crystal clear. The customer management software has a bit of a learning curve if you aren't tech-savvy, but once configured, it saves us a lot of time logging call details manually.
Q: Does this device work with VoIP phones or only traditional landlines?
A: The Zipei T0/IR0 is designed specifically for traditional analog landline fixed phones connected via RJ11. It is not natively compatible with pure VoIP systems without an analog telephone adapter (ATA).
Q: Does the pop-up software work with Outlook contacts?
A: The built-in customer management system allows for CSV import/export. While it does not sync live with Outlook automatically, you can export your Outlook contacts to CSV and import them into the Zipei software easily.
Q: What happens if the computer crashes during a call?
A: The device relies on the PC software for processing. If the computer crashes or loses power during a call, the recording for that specific call may be incomplete or lost. We recommend using a UPS for critical operations.
Q: Can I access the recordings remotely if my computer is off?
A: No, since the device stores recordings directly onto the connected computer's hard drive, the computer must be powered on and running the software to record and store calls. Remote access would require setting up remote desktop software on that PC.
Q: Is the SDK free to use for commercial applications?
A: Yes, the SDK is included with the purchase of the hardware and can be used for secondary development in commercial environments. Please refer to the license agreement file included in the software package for specific terms.
