Works as described but setup took time
Once configured, it records voices perfectly and the voicemail feature is handy. However, getting the drivers to recognize the device on Windows 11 took some troubleshooting.

Perfect for our small office setup
The pop-up caller ID works flawlessly with our CRM software. Installation was straightforward, and the audio quality on recorded calls is crystal clear.
Q: Does this device work with Mac OS?
A: Currently, the Zipei IP1 is optimized for Windows and Linux environments. There is no native driver support for macOS at this time.
Q: Can I access the recordings remotely over the network?
A: The device stores files locally on the connected PC. To access them remotely, you would need to set up file sharing on the host computer or use the provided API to push files to a cloud server.
Q: Is the SDK free to use for commercial projects?
A: Yes, the SDK is included with the purchase of the hardware and can be used for commercial secondary development without additional licensing fees.
Q: Does it support analog phone lines only or VoIP as well?
A: The Zipei IP1 connects via standard RJ11 to analog telephone lines. For VoIP, it must be connected to an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) or the phone port of your VoIP router.
Q: What is the maximum storage capacity for voicemails?
A: Voicemail storage depends on the hard drive capacity of the connected PC, not the device itself, as files are saved directly to the computer's disk.
