Perfect for my chinchilla!
My chinchilla absolutely loves this sand. It creates a nice cloud when she rolls in it, and the odor control is impressive. No dust issues so far.

Great for daily cleaning
The granule size is perfect. Not too coarse, not too fine. My gerbil spends hours grooming in it. The resealable bag keeps it fresh between uses.

Solid choice for small pets
Been using this for three months now. Consistent quality and good absorption. Just make sure to stir it occasionally to maximize the deodorizing effect.

Decent but not amazing
It does the job for urine absorption, but my hamster seems to prefer his old ceramic bath house with this sand. The scent neutralization is okay, not miraculous.

Good value for money
Works well for my two golden hamsters. It clumps nicely for easy scooping. I deducted one star because the bag was slightly torn upon arrival, but the product inside was fine.

Finally found a dust-free option
I have respiratory-sensitive pets, and this sand has been a game changer. Very little airborne dust compared to other brands. Highly recommend!
Q: Can I use this in an automatic self-cleaning litter box?
A: This sand is designed for manual spot cleaning and traditional litter trays. We do not recommend using it in automatic self-cleaning machines as the granule size may interfere with the mechanism.
Q: How often should I replace the sand completely?
A: We recommend spot-cleaning daily by removing clumped urine and waste. A complete change of the sand should be done every 2-3 weeks depending on the number of pets using it.
Q: What is the shelf life of this product?
A: As long as the package remains sealed and stored in a cool, dry place, the sand does not expire. Once opened, ensure the zip-lock is closed tightly to maintain freshness.
Q: Does this product contain any artificial fragrances?
A: No, Yuexiaomeng Hamster Bath Sand is unscented and relies on natural volcanic rock properties to neutralize odors, making it safe for pets with sensitive noses.
