Great value
For the price, you get a decent amount of biomass. Make sure to separate the clumps gently before planting to encourage faster spreading.

Melted initially
About half the plant melted after planting, which is normal for transition, but I was worried. The remaining half grew out beautifully though.

Perfect for nano tanks
These plants arrived in perfect condition. The gel was clear and the plants looked vibrant immediately after rinsing. They started spreading within two weeks in my 5-gallon tank.

No snails or algae!
Best part about tissue cultured plants is the lack of pests. I didn't have to quarantine these at all. Planted them straight into my display tank.

Excellent coverage
I bought three cups for my 20-gallon long. Within a month, they covered the entire foreground. The tiny leaves look very natural.

Good quality but needs patience
The cup was sterile as advertised. Growth is a bit slow without CO2 injection, but once established, it forms a nice carpet. Just give it time.
Q: Do I need to remove the gel before planting?
A: Yes, please rinse the roots thoroughly under dechlorinated water to remove all agar gel before planting to prevent rotting.
Q: How many cups do I need for a 10-gallon tank?
A: For a 10-gallon tank, we recommend 2 to 3 cups to achieve full foreground coverage within a reasonable timeframe.
Q: Does this require substrate fertilizer?
A: While it can absorb nutrients from the water column, rooting it in a nutrient-rich substrate or using root tabs will significantly improve growth rate.
Q: Will this grow in low light conditions?
A: It can survive in low light, but it will grow very slowly and may not carpet effectively. Medium to high light is recommended for best results.
Q: Is this safe for shrimp tanks?
A: Absolutely. Since these are tissue-cultured in a sterile environment, they are free from pesticides and safe for sensitive shrimp species.
