Fast shipping and great product
Arrived two days earlier than expected. The packaging was secure with bubble wrap. The assembly looks identical to the stock part but feels slightly more robust. Printing PLA and PETG without any issues so far.

Good quality, instructions could be better
The build quality of the extruder head feels solid. The brass nozzle heats up evenly. I deducted one star because the included manual was very generic. I had to watch a YouTube video to ensure I applied the thermal paste correctly. Once installed, it works great.

Excellent value for money
Much cheaper than buying a brand name equivalent, yet performs just as well. I keep one of these as a spare now. The 0.4mm nozzle provides a good balance between speed and detail for my everyday prints.

Perfect replacement for my Vyper
My original hotend started clogging frequently after a year of use. This kit was a direct fit for my Anycubic Vyper. Installation took about 20 minutes, and the print quality is back to being crisp and clean. Highly recommended for anyone needing an upgrade or repair.

Works but thermistor wire was short
The hotend itself functions well, but the thermistor wires were a bit shorter than my original setup, making cable management tight inside the print head cover. I had to reroute some cables. If you are careful during installation, it will work fine.

Solved my under-extrusion issues
I was experiencing consistent under-extrusion on my Chiron. Swapped this in, leveled the bed, and printed a calibration cube immediately. Dimensions were perfect. The E3D V5 style is reliable and easy to find parts for in the future.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware after installing this?
A: No firmware update is required. This is a hardware replacement with the same thermal characteristics as the original part. You may need to run a PID tuning cycle for optimal temperature stability.
Q: Can I use this for printing ABS filament?
A: Yes, this hotend can reach temperatures up to 260°C, which is sufficient for printing ABS. However, please ensure your printer has an enclosed chamber for best results with ABS.
Q: Is this compatible with the Anycubic Kobra?
A: No, this specific assembly is designed exclusively for the Anycubic Vyper and Chiron models. The mounting points and wiring harness differ for the Kobra series.
Q: What is the length of the heater cartridge?
A: The heater cartridge included in this assembly is 20mm in length, which is the standard size for the Vyper and Chiron hotend blocks.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
