Gentle on gold nibs

Effective but requires patience
Great product for stubborn clogs. It took two cycles of cleaning for my gold nib Pilot, but it eventually cleared up completely. Just follow the instructions.
Q: Is this safe for use on plastic pen bodies?
A: Absolutely. Our formula is designed to be safe for all common pen materials, including acrylic, resin, and ebonite, as long as normal soaking times are observed.
Q: How long should I soak a severely clogged gold nib?
A: For severe clogs, we recommend an initial soak of 1 hour. If the ink remains, you may extend the soak up to 4 hours, checking periodically.
Q: Does this work on waterproof or iron gall inks?
A: While effective on most dyes, waterproof and iron gall inks are more stubborn. You may need to repeat the cleaning process 2-3 times for complete removal.
Q: Can this be used on pens with piston filling mechanisms?
A: Yes, you can draw the fluid into the piston mechanism using the included syringe or by operating the piston directly to clean the internal channels.
Q: Do I need to rinse the pen after using this fluid?
A: Yes, it is crucial to flush the pen thoroughly with clean water after using the cleaning fluid to remove any residue before refilling with ink.
