No more chalk dust!
I used to use tailor's chalk which made a mess. This pen is so much cleaner and the lines are sharper. It disappears into thin air on my quilting blocks.

Solid performance on leather
Bought this specifically for leatherworking. The white ink contrasts beautifully against brown leather and vanishes after stitching. Deducted one star because the ink flow can be slightly inconsistent near the end of the pen's life.

Great tool, but mind the timing
Works exactly as described for my cross-stitch patterns. Just make sure you don't leave the marks for too long before finishing your project, or they might take a bit of water to fully remove.

Good but dries out fast if uncapped
The pen works well when fresh, but if you forget to cap it for even a few minutes, the tip gets clogged. You have to be very diligent about capping it immediately after use.

Perfect for dark fabrics!
I finally found a marking pen that shows up clearly on my black leather projects. The white ink is crisp and fades away completely after a day without leaving any residue.
Q: How long does the ink stay visible before fading?
A: Under normal indoor conditions, the marks typically remain visible for 24 to 48 hours before fading completely. High humidity may accelerate the fading process.
Q: Does this pen work on synthetic fabrics like polyester?
A: Yes, it works on most synthetics, but we recommend testing on a small hidden area first as fade times may vary compared to natural fibers.
Q: Is the ink toxic if it touches skin?
A: The ink is non-toxic and safe for general crafting use. However, it is not intended for use on skin or near eyes, and should be kept out of reach of young children.
Q: What should I do if the mark doesn't fade after 3 days?
A: If marks persist due to low humidity, simply dab the area with a damp cloth or rinse the garment lightly; since the ink is water-soluble, it will wash away easily.
Q: Can I wash the fabric immediately after marking?
A: It is best to complete your stitching or cutting before washing. If you wash immediately, the water-soluble ink will dissolve right away, which defeats the purpose of the temporary mark.
