Good upgrade path
Transformed the look and sound of my budget guitar. The black pickguard contrasts nicely with the maple neck. Only giving 4 stars because the knob shafts were a bit tight, but they loosened up after use.

Excellent component quality
The single-ply material is durable and doesn't curl at the edges like some cheaper guards. The mini humbucker wiring configuration gives a nice punchy tone. Highly recommend for anyone doing a Strat swap.

Easy installation for beginners

Great value, minor adjustment needed
Overall a solid product. The wiring harness is high quality and the pots feel smooth. I had to slightly enlarge one screw hole for my specific body, but that's common with aftermarket parts. Sounds great once installed.

Perfect fit for my Squier project
This pickguard set was exactly what I needed to upgrade my old Squier. The holes lined up perfectly, and the pre-wired harness saved me hours of soldering work. The black finish looks sleek against the sunburst body.

A: Minimal soldering is required. While the harness is pre-wired, you will need to solder the pickup leads to the switch and the ground wire to the bridge or tremolo block to complete the circuit.
Q: What is the thickness of the single-ply material?
A: The pickguard is made from standard 1-ply PVC material, approximately 1.5mm thick, which is the industry standard for this type of replacement part.
Q: Does the wiring harness come with pickups included?
A: No, this package includes the pickguard and the pre-wired control harness (pots, capacitor, switch, and jack) only. You will need to purchase the single-coil pickups separately if you do not already have them.
Q: Will this fit a standard Fender American Stratocaster?
A: This set is designed specifically for ST and SQ3 style bodies, which often match Squier dimensions. While it may fit some American models, we recommend checking your existing pickguard screw hole spacing before purchasing as there can be slight variations.
