Excellent heat break performance
The heat break in this kit prevents clogging much better than my stock component. I've been printing PETG continuously for days without a single jam. Highly recommended for serious hobbyists.

Perfect upgrade for my Ender 3

Decent but silicone sock is thin
The metal parts are solid, but the silicone sock feels a bit thinner than the original E3D one. It still works fine for temperature stability, just be careful when cleaning around it.

Good value but check your threads
Great quality for the price. Just make sure your heater block matches the M6 thread specification exactly. I had to tap the threads slightly, but once installed, print quality improved significantly.
Q: How do I prevent leaks at the nozzle connection?
A: Ensure the hotend is heated to printing temperature before tightening the nozzle. This allows the metal to expand and creates a proper seal. Also, check that the heat break is screwed in firmly against the throat of the block.
Q: Does this come with a thermistor?
A: No, this kit includes the heat break, heater block, nozzle, and silicone sock. You will need to reuse your existing thermistor and cartridge heater or purchase them separately if yours are damaged.
Q: What is the difference between the brass and hardened steel nozzles included?
A: Brass nozzles offer excellent thermal conductivity for standard filaments like PLA and ABS. Hardened steel nozzles are required for abrasive materials like carbon fiber, wood-fill, or glow-in-the-dark filaments to prevent wear.
Q: Is this compatible with the Creality CR-10 stock hotend?
A: This kit is designed specifically for the E3D V6 style hotend. The stock CR-10 uses a different mount, so you would need an adapter or a full hotend swap to use this kit.
Q: Can I use this with a 24V power supply?
A: Yes, the heater block itself is voltage-neutral. However, you must ensure your cartridge heater is rated for 24V. The kit does not include the heater cartridge, so check your current component's rating.
