Great durability, slightly longer heat-up
The build quality is excellent and feels very robust. I noticed the heat-up time is maybe 10-15 seconds longer than the stock hotend due to the different thermal mass, but it stabilizes quickly. Prints look fantastic with PETG and ASA.

No more nozzle changes!
I used to change my brass nozzles every few weeks because of wear. Since installing this hardened steel assembly, I haven't had to touch it. It pays for itself in saved time and replacement parts. A must-have accessory for serious users.

Solid performance
Works exactly as advertised. The hardened steel nozzle handles abrasive materials with ease. I deducted one star only because the included silicone sock was a bit tight to put on, but once installed, everything works great.

Seamless replacement

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this immediately. The wear resistance is unmatched. I've printed over 5kg of glass-filled nylon without any change in extrusion consistency. Highly recommended for the P1P.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel hotend specifically to print carbon fiber reinforced PLA. The standard brass nozzle wore out after just two spools, but this one has been going strong for months with zero degradation in print quality. Installation on my X1 Carbon was straightforward.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my printer after installation?
A: It is highly recommended to run the flow rate calibration and vibration calibration (if available on your model) after swapping the hotend to ensure optimal print quality, though the printer should recognize the hardware automatically.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this hotend assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different hotend design.
Q: Does this come with a 0.2mm nozzle installed?
