Robust construction

This feels much more solid than the original brass setup. The heating element ramps up quickly, and the thermistor readings are very accurate. Highly recommended for anyone pushing their printer to the limits with engineering materials.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments

I switched to this hardened steel assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon, and it has been flawless. The temperature stability is excellent, and layer adhesion is crisp. Installation on my X1C took less than 10 minutes.

Solid performer for production

We use these in our farm of P1S printers. They hold up well under continuous operation. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price point, but the longevity justifies the cost compared to replacing brass nozzles weekly.

Saved my prints

Great quality, slightly noisy fan

The print quality improved immediately after swapping this in. The hardened nozzle handles my glass-filled PETG without wearing down. My only minor complaint is that the cooling fans are slightly louder than the stock ones, but it's a trade-off I'm willing to make for durability.

A: No, this TZ2.0 assembly is specifically designed for the X1, X1-Carbon, P1P, and P1S models. It is not compatible with the A1 or A1 mini series due to different mounting mechanisms.

A: The package includes one pre-installed 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Spare nozzles are sold separately, but given the durability of hardened steel, they typically last much longer than brass equivalents.
