Upgrade worth making
Even though it's a replacement part, the build quality feels superior to the original. My dimensional accuracy has improved significantly.

Easy swap
Replaced my worn-out nozzle in under 10 minutes. The temperature stability is excellent, and layer adhesion looks much better now.

Good value for money
Does exactly what it says. No clogging issues with abrasive filaments yet. Would give 5 stars if it came with a spare silicone sock.

Reliable and consistent
I run my U1 almost 24/7 for prototyping. This hotend has held up remarkably well over three weeks of continuous printing. Highly recommended for heavy users.

Great quality, slightly tight fit
The hotend works perfectly once installed. It took a bit of extra torque to get it seated correctly, but no leaks so far. Prints PLA and PETG without issues.

Perfect replacement for my U1
The installation was straightforward, and the print quality improved immediately. The stainless steel construction feels very durable compared to the stock brass nozzle I had before.
Q: What is the maximum recommended printing temperature for this specific hotend?
A: The hotend is rated for temperatures up to 300°C, which covers most common engineering filaments like ABS, ASA, and PC.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my E-steps after installing this?
A: Generally, no. Since the flow path diameter remains 0.4mm, your existing E-step calibration should remain accurate. However, we always recommend running a test print to verify flow.
Q: Is this hotend compatible with abrasive filaments like carbon fiber PLA?
A: Yes, the stainless steel construction makes it more resistant to wear from abrasive materials compared to standard brass nozzles, extending its lifespan.
Q: How long is the warranty period for this replacement part?
A: The Snapmaker U1 Stainless Steel Hotend comes with a 90-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Q: Does this come with a thermal barrier tube or just the heater block and nozzle?
A: This item includes the complete hotend assembly: heater block, thermistor, heating cartridge, thermal barrier tube, and the 0.4mm stainless steel nozzle.
