Great value and easy to install
Installation took less than a minute. No tools required, just slide it on. It provides excellent protection against accidental burns when tweaking the printer mid-print. Highly recommended for any U1 owner.

Safety first!
As a beginner, I appreciate the extra safety layer. It prevents accidental contact with the hot nozzle. One star off only because the instructions were just a small diagram, but installation was intuitive anyway.

Essential upgrade for temperature stability
These silicone socks fit the U1 hotend perfectly. I noticed much better temperature consistency during long prints, especially with ABS. The pack of four means I won't need to buy replacements for a long time.

Reduced cooling fan noise
Aside from thermal benefits, these socks seem to dampen some of the airflow noise from the part cooling fan hitting the hotend directly. A small but nice bonus. The 4-pack is great value.

Perfect replacement parts
My original sock got torn after a year of heavy use. These replacements are identical to the OEM part. Having spares on hand is smart because silicone can degrade over time with constant heating.

Good quality, slightly tight fit initially
The silicone quality feels premium and durable. It was a bit tight to get over the heater block at first, but after one heat cycle, it settled in nicely. Does exactly what it is supposed to do.
