Solved my clogging issues
I was constantly battling clogs with wood-fill filament. Since upgrading to this hardened steel component, I haven't had a single clog. The flow is consistent and the layer adhesion is improved.

Essential upgrade
If you plan on doing any serious engineering printing with your Qidi, this is a must-have. It handles high temperatures without clogging and the detachable design makes swapping nozzles much faster than stock components.

Durable and reliable
Solid construction. It took a few extra minutes to dial in the temperature settings compared to my brass nozzle, but once tuned, the prints are crisp. Great value for the price.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this hardened steel nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. My old brass nozzle wore out in two prints, but this one has been going strong for months with no signs of wear. Highly recommended for Qidi printer owners.

Good quality, slightly tricky install
The build quality is excellent and feels very durable. Installation was a bit tighter than expected, so make sure your hotend is fully heated before trying to screw it in. Once installed, print quality is flawless.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA filament?
A: Absolutely. While it is designed for abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, ABS, and PETG filaments as well.
Q: Does this come with a heater cartridge and thermistor?
A: This package includes the hotend block and the hardened steel nozzle. If you need a replacement heater cartridge or thermistor, those are sold separately.
Q: Is this compatible with the Qidi X-One 2?
A: Yes, this upgraded hotend is fully compatible with the Qidi X-One 2, as well as the X-Pro and X-Max series.
Q: How often should I replace this nozzle?
A: Unlike brass nozzles, hardened steel nozzles last significantly longer. With normal use, you may only need to replace it after hundreds of hours of printing, unless physically damaged.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature?
A: The hardened steel nozzle is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for most high-temperature engineering filaments.
