Durable but requires careful installation
The quality is excellent and it prints very smoothly. Just make sure not to overtighten it as the material is harder than brass. Great upgrade for longevity.

Lasts much longer than brass
My old brass nozzles would wear out in a week with glass-filled nylon. This carbide nozzle has been running for months with zero degradation in print quality.

Good value for money
Slightly more expensive than standard nozzles, but the lifespan makes it worth every penny. My prints look crisp and detailed.

Essential upgrade for Q2
If you plan on doing any serious engineering-grade printing on the QIDI Q2, this is a must-have. The heat transfer is efficient and clogs are rare.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
I switched to this tungsten carbide nozzle specifically for printing carbon fiber PLA. It has held up perfectly without any signs of wear after several spools. Highly recommended for Q2 owners.

Easy swap and great results
I was worried about changing the nozzle myself, but it screwed right in easily. The print quality improved immediately on my textured filaments.
Q: Will this improve bridging performance?
A: The primary benefit is durability against wear. Bridging performance depends more on cooling and calibration, though the precise machining of this nozzle ensures consistent extrusion which aids overall quality.
Q: Can I use this with regular PLA filament?
A: Yes, absolutely. While it is optimized for abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and ABS filaments as well.
Q: Does this come with a wrench for installation?
A: No, the package contains only the nozzle. Please use a standard M6 nozzle wrench or socket, which is typically included with your 3D printer toolkit.
Q: Is this nozzle compatible with the original QIDI X1 printer?
A: This specific model is designed for the Q2 series. While the thread size is standard M6, we recommend checking your hotend assembly dimensions before purchasing for the X1 model.
Q: What is the expected lifespan compared to a brass nozzle?
A: Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, a tungsten carbide nozzle can last 10 to 20 times longer than a standard brass nozzle.
