Works well but packaging was poor
The needles themselves are excellent quality stainless steel. However, they arrived loose in the bag and one tip was slightly bent. Straightened it out and it works fine now.

Good quality, very thin
The steel feels durable and the tip is extremely fine. It works perfectly for clearing small jams. I took off one star because they are so thin that I worry about bending them if I'm not careful.

Essential tool for maintenance
I keep a set of these next to my printer at all times. They are much better than using guitar strings or paperclips which can scratch the interior. Clean clears every time.

Saved my print head!
My extruder was completely clogged after a failed PLA print. These needles slid right in and cleared the blockage without damaging the nozzle threads. Highly recommended for any 3D printing enthusiast.

Perfect fit for 0.4mm nozzles
Fits snugly but moves freely. Used it to clear an ABS clog and it worked like a charm. The handle length gives good leverage without burning fingers on a warm nozzle.

Best value for money
You get five needles for a great price. Even if you lose or bend one, you have spares. Much cheaper than buying a whole new hotend assembly when you get a clog.
Q: What is the exact diameter of the tip?
A: The tip is tapered, but the working diameter is designed specifically for 0.4mm nozzles, measuring approximately 0.38mm to ensure a smooth fit.
Q: Will this work for 0.6mm nozzles?
A: While it will fit inside a 0.6mm nozzle, it may be too thin to effectively clear large clogs in that size. We recommend our 0.6mm specific kit for larger apertures.
Q: Are these reusable or single-use only?
A: These are fully reusable. Simply wipe them clean with a cloth after use while they are still warm (use caution) to remove any melted plastic residue.
Q: Can these needles be used on brass nozzles without scratching them?
A: Yes, the stainless steel is polished and smooth. As long as you insert them gently without forcing, they will not scratch standard brass nozzles.
Q: Do I need to heat the nozzle before using these?
A: It is recommended to heat the nozzle to your typical printing temperature (e.g., 200°C for PLA) to soften the residual plastic before inserting the needle.
