Solid upgrade for Mellow V2
Fits the Mellow V2 hotend perfectly. It runs slightly hotter than the stock metal tube due to different thermal properties, so I adjusted my cooling fan curve slightly.

A: The high-purity ceramic material can withstand temperatures up to 1400°C, far exceeding the requirements of any standard 3D printing filament.
Q: Does the package include a new heater block?
A: No, this package contains only the ceramic throat tube and a small sample of thermal paste. The heater block and nozzle are sold separately.
Q: How often should I replace this compared to a steel throat?
A: Unlike steel or brass throats which degrade quickly with abrasive filaments, this ceramic tube can last indefinitely under normal operating conditions unless physically damaged.
Q: Can this handle PLA or only abrasive filaments?
A: It works perfectly with PLA, PETG, and ABS as well. While it is optimized for abrasive materials like carbon fiber, there is no downside to using it with standard filaments.
Q: Is this compatible with the standard E3D V6 hotend?
A: No, this specific 'Crazy Mosquito' ceramic tube is designed exclusively for the Mellow V2 hotend system and may not fit standard E3D V6 configurations without modification.
