Great quality but fragile
The thermal performance is excellent and prints look crisp. Just be very careful during installation as ceramic can crack if you overtighten the nozzle.

Perfect for high-temp materials
I switched to this ceramic block for printing PEEK and it handles the heat beautifully without warping. The lightweight design also reduced strain on my gantry.
Q: Does it come with a thermal paste?
A: No, the heating block is sold separately. We recommend using high-temperature thermal paste for optimal sensor contact.
Q: Is this compatible with standard E3D V6 heaters?
A: Yes, this block is designed to work with standard 12V or 24V cartridge heaters used in E3D V6 and Volcano style hotends.
Q: What is the thread pitch for the nozzle?
A: The block uses the standard M6 thread pitch compatible with all Volcano and Crazy Volcano nozzles.
Q: How does this compare to the aluminum version regarding durability?
A: Ceramic is more brittle than aluminum and can break if dropped or overtightened, but it offers superior thermal insulation and resistance to chemical corrosion.
Q: Can I use this with PLA filament?
