Consistent layer adhesion

The internal bore finish is incredibly smooth, which results in consistent extrusion and better layer adhesion. I've been using it for engineering-grade PETG at higher temps, and there is no sign of wear or oozing issues.

Good value, works as advertised

Does exactly what it says on the tin. It's not cheap compared to a pack of brass nozzles, but considering the lifespan when printing glow-in-the-dark or wood-fill filaments, it saves money in the long run. Deducting one star only because shipping took a bit longer than expected.

Perfect for Carbon Fiber Filament

Great durability, slightly tighter tolerance

The build quality is excellent and it handles high temperatures very well. I noticed the flow rate was slightly different than my old brass nozzle, so I had to recalibrate my extrusion multiplier. Once dialed in, the prints are flawless.

Q: What is the difference between this and a full hardened steel nozzle?

A: This is a bimetallic nozzle, meaning it has a hardened steel tip for wear resistance but a copper alloy body for superior thermal conductivity. Full hardened steel nozzles conduct heat less efficiently, which can lead to heat creep issues in some hotends. This design offers the best of both worlds.

Q: How often should I replace this nozzle compared to brass?

A: With non-abrasive filaments like pure PLA or PETG, this nozzle can last indefinitely, similar to brass. However, with abrasive filaments (carbon fiber, glow-in-the-dark, metal fill), a brass nozzle might last 100-200 grams, whereas this bimetallic nozzle can easily last several kilograms before needing replacement.

Q: Does this come in a 0.6mm size?
