5 FAQ
Q: What is the inner diameter of the nozzles included?
A: The standard configuration comes with 0.4mm nozzles. If you require different sizes, the M6 thread allows you to swap them with other standard M6 nozzles easily.
Q: Can I use this with ABS filament?
A: While the metal components can handle the temperature, the included PTFE tube is generally recommended for use up to 260°C. For consistent ABS printing, we suggest ensuring your cooling fan is optimized to prevent heat creep, or consider an all-metal hotend conversion if you plan to print above 260°C regularly.
Q: Does the package include thermal paste?
A: No, thermal paste is not included in this specific kit. We recommend applying a high-quality thermal compound between the heater cartridge, thermistor, and block for optimal performance.
Q: How difficult is it to install the 2-in-1-out system?
A: Installation requires basic mechanical skills and tools. You will need to disassemble your current hotend, install the new block and throat, and carefully align the two filament paths. Most users complete the upgrade in under 45 minutes.
Q: Is this compatible with E3D V6 clones or only genuine E3D parts?
A: This assembly is designed to fit standard V6 style heating blocks and is compatible with most reputable V6 clones that adhere to the original dimensional specifications.
