Description
This stainless steel throat feed tube serves as a critical guide for 1.75mm filament in 3D printer hotends. It features an internal PTFE lining designed to reduce friction and prevent filament jamming during extrusion. The component is constructed from durable stainless steel to withstand high temperatures within the heating block. 5 FAQ
Q: How do I remove the old tube if it is stuck?
A: Heat the nozzle to about 200°C to soften any residual plastic, then use a wrench to gently unscrew the tube. Be careful not to strip the threads.
Q: Is this compatible with the Creality Ender 3 V2?
A: Yes, this M6 threaded throat tube is fully compatible with the Ender 3 V2 and most other printers using standard 1.75mm setups.
Q: Does the package include heat sink compound?
A: No, the package includes only the two throat tubes. We recommend applying fresh thermal paste to the heatsink during installation for optimal performance.
Q: What is the exact length of the PTFE liner inside?
A: The internal PTFE liner extends approximately 30mm from the top, leaving the bottom section as bare stainless steel for the heat zone.
Q: Can I use this with ABS filament?
A: While it can physically handle ABS, the PTFE liner is best suited for temperatures up to 240°C. For frequent ABS printing, an all-metal throat might be more durable long-term.
