Essential for high-temp materials
Needed something that could handle ABS and polycarbonate without clogging. This kit maintains temperature stability incredibly well even at 280°C.

Great quality, installation took time
The parts feel very premium and the ceramic core heats up quickly. Installation was a bit tricky compared to the stock unit, but once set up, prints are perfect.

No more nozzle erosion
After ruining three brass nozzles with glow-in-the-dark filament, this hardened steel setup is a lifesaver. Highly recommended for specialty materials.

Silicone sock fits perfectly
Everything in the box matched my Centauri Carbon exactly. The silicone sock provides excellent insulation, reducing heat creep issues significantly.

Solid performance boost
My print quality improved immediately, especially on overhangs. The only reason for 4 stars is the price, but you get what you pay for in durability.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
I switched to this ceramic hotend kit to print carbon-fiber filled nylon, and it works flawlessly. The hardened steel nozzle shows no signs of wear after several spools.
Q: Does the package include a replacement thermistor wire?
A: Yes, the kit includes a new thermistor wire pre-attached to the ceramic hotend assembly to ensure accurate temperature readings.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Elegoo Centauri or only the Carbon version?
A: This kit is specifically designed for the Elegoo Centauri Carbon model due to differences in mounting and thermal dynamics. It is not recommended for the standard Centauri.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate my E-steps after installing this?
A: Generally, no. Since the drive gear position remains the same, E-steps should not change. However, we always recommend running a flow rate calibration test after any hotend change.
Q: Can I use a 0.6mm nozzle with this hotend instead of the included 0.4mm?
A: The hotend block accepts standard MK8 style nozzles. You can swap the included 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle for a 0.6mm one, provided it is also hardened steel for best results.
Q: What is the maximum safe operating temperature for continuous printing?
A: While the components can withstand up to 300°C, we recommend continuous printing at temperatures up to 280°C to ensure longevity of the heater pad and thermistor.
