Does the job well

The insulation properties are excellent. It helps maintain consistent nozzle temperature. The fit is snug, though it took a little effort to slide on initially.

Q: Will this fit a standard V6 hotend?

A: No, this sleeve is specifically designed for Mosquito-style heating blocks and may not fit E3D V6 hotends correctly due to size differences.

Q: Does this come with screws or mounting hardware?

A: No, this package includes only the silicone sleeve. It relies on friction and the existing geometry of your heating block to stay in place, so no additional hardware is needed.

Q: Can I choose the color before ordering?

A: Unfortunately, the color is selected randomly from our stock (Black or Blue), and we cannot accommodate specific color requests for this item.

Q: Is this safe for printing PEEK material?

A: Yes, the sleeve is rated up to 280°C. While PEEK often requires higher nozzle temps, the sleeve provides good insulation for the upper range; however, ensure your specific printing parameters do not exceed the material limits continuously.

Q: How difficult is it to install?

A: Installation is very simple. Just ensure the hotend is cool, then slide the sleeve over the heating block until it sits flush against the thermal break.
